Inspired by the rich heritage of kachchh, Gujarat's lac wood craftsmanship, we chose the durable and water-resistant Babool wood as our base material. The lamp's geometric design, incorporating a black and white color palette, breaks away from traditional vibrancy. Crafted through a meticulous process involving hand-carving and lac color application, the lamp features a split design with an LED light, addressing both illumination and lac color preservation challenges. This contemporary creation not only celebrates the craft's historical significance but also embodies a vision for its enduring future.
